Body Benefits specializes in advanced skincare treatments including facials customized to your skins needs, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal and IPL Photo facials for age spots, skin tightening, rosacea, acne, sun-damage, and broken blood vessels. Additionally, Body Benefits offers deep hydrating body treatments, slimming and detoxifying body wraps, massage, detailed manicures and pedicures. Botox, Juvederm and cosmetic fillers performed by Dr. Jennifer Andrade.

Award-Winning Make-Up Artistry At Body Benefits Day Spa, the make-up artists have been trained with Cinema Secrets and Glo Minerals paramedical make-up. These lines are perfect for everyday use protecting from UVA/UVB rays naturally, as well as used to heal and conceal the skin after microdermabrasion, surgery, chemical peels or laser. Cinema Secrets and Glo Minerals make-up contain the added benefits of green tea extract, vitamins A, C, E and K as well as an antiseptic to fight bacteria.

Melanie Bains of Body Benefits started working with makeup when she was 14 and by the time she was 16 was in charge of makeup for a theatre group (W.E.D.S). At 18, Melanie was doing makeup for modeling agencies where she also modeled (The Agency, Sherida & Giovanni). Melanie was a graduate of the Advanced Aesthetics Program at The D’arcy Lane Institute in London, Ont. 1992. During her career, Melanie has worked with many bridal parties and photographers, and her work has been featured in several magazines and advertising campaigns. She placed sixth in Canada for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy at the annual ABA show in Toronto, and Melanie was head of make-up for Miss Teen Canada and Miss Canada Pageants for four years.

Medical Aesthetics
We offer medical aesthetics including several different chemical peels since 1994. We were the first medical spa in London to offer microdermabrasion since 1999. We offer laser hair removal, IPL Photo facials for hyper-pigmentation, age spots, rosacea, vascular lesions, skin tightening and acne since 2004. All trainings were conducted with Derma International, PCA Skin, Circadia in Toronto,Ont. RGR Pharma in Windsor, Ont. Palomar Medical in Boston, MA and several series of updated trainings in Montreal, Las Vegas and Woodbridge, Ont. at Voice Plastic Surgery.

Jessica is registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and she is certified in both facial rejuvenation and cosmetic injecting with Botox, Juvederm, microneedling with PRP (vampire facelift) and hair restoration with PRP, Restalyne, Dysport and other cosmetic injectables.

Registered Massage Therapy
Mary Bradshaw, Registered Massage Therapist, was a graduate of The D'arcy Lane Institute in 1997. Mary specializes in the treatment of fibromyalgia, sciatica, acute and chronic pain, injuries, relaxation and pregnancy massage. Mary has worked with Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and other massage professionals before joining Body Benefits Day Spa in 1997.
